SECAT aims to promote the Mobility of Trainee Researchers between laboratories, encouraging collaboration between groups of the Society, granting grants to partially finance research visits not covered by other programmes.

Terms and conditions of the call

• Candidates: Trainee researchers, not PhDs, who meet the following requirements:

1. Be a member of SECAT with at least one year's seniority when formalizing the application.

2. The scientists responsible for their work and the receiving team must be members of SECAT for at least three years.

3. Stay: minimum duration of one week.

• Help: Travel Bag up to 400 € the first week and up to 300€ per additional week; with a maximum of €1,000 per applicant per year. It will become effective after the end and justification of the stay, with a brief summary of the work carried out and the certification of the recipient scientist. To this end, this documentation must be sent to the SECAT secretariat (secretaria@secat.es), along with proof of travel.

• Requests: By means of the form including a document with a brief description of the work to be performed at the receiving center, the approval of the director of the work at the sending center, and a letter of acceptance from the director of the work at the receiving center. *

They must be submitted at least one month before the date of the stay.

• The aid will be conditioned by the budgetary availability at all times.
