Patricia García Muñoz, Member of SECAT, has been awarded the First National Prize 2015 for Chemical Engineering (BOE 21/11/2015). Patricia García studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Extremadura, where she won the Extraordinary Award. She began research in photocatalysis through a JAE-INTRO Grant from the CSIC, working under the direction of Dr. Ana Bahamonde at the Institute of Catalysis and Petrochemistry of the CSIC. She was subsequently awarded a SECAT Master's Scholarship in 2013. He is currently doing his PhD in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
