The doctoral thesis is framed in the project “Process industry decarbonisation through intensified Catalysis by integration of Key Enabling Technologies (PICKET)” funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. In particular, the research of the doctoral thesis aims at developing efficient multifunctional catalysts for the direct conversion to CO2 to high-value hydrocarbons (e-fuels and e-chemicals).
The successful candidate will acquire skills in synthesis of advanced solid catalysts, characterization of materials, and assessment of catalytic performance in lab-scale reactors at industrial conditions in the highly relevant context of decarbonisation of the energy sector.
Candidate requirements:
Candidates should hold (or be ready to hold in the next months) a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or any other related to these, and show good written and oral communication skills in English.
