The Research Group Surface Chemistry and Catalysis (Surfcat) of the University of Seville offers a predoctoral contract associated with the project "NH INTEGRATION3 GREEN IN CO RECOVERY TECHNOLOGIES2 FOR THE PRODUCTION OF AMIDES ".

ABSTRACT: This project aims to develop catalytic systems for the generation of amides using CO waste2 and NH3 green. The implementation of NH3 in thermocatalytic processes for the recovery of CO2 For amide synthesis, it emerges as a pioneering route that could foster unsustainable traditional industries and support emerging chemical technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out research aimed at the development and characterization of heterogeneous catalytic systems.
  • Design and adapt an operation plant for the testing of catalysts in gas-solid processes.
  • Development of analytical methods for quantifying products.
  • Tested the behavior of catalysts in different equipment.
  • Advanced characterization of relevant systems using spectroscopic techniques.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, contributing to scientific publications, patents, and presentations.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Master's degree in fields related to materials science, chemistry or chemical engineering
  • Ability and proactive attitude to solve problems.
  • Communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently and in groups, within the framework of collaborative and international projects.

CONDITIONS:

  • Salary 25000 euros gross per year
