This course, which has been held continuously since 1989, analyzes the chemical nature of the surface, active centers, surface groups, oxidation states, surface acidity/basicity and energetics of the surface and its application to practical cases. Experimental techniques such as IR, synchrotron radiation, Raman, XPS, thermal analysis, etc. will be presented.
This training is suitable for people engaged in catalysis in the fields of research, teaching and industry. The teaching staff is largely made up of SECAT members.
The course will be held in Jarandilla de la Vera (Cáceres), in the V Centenario Residence (UEX) from the June 11-14.
A certificate of attendance will be issued by the CSIC Postgraduate Department.
The number of students will be strictly limited to one Maximum of 50 people.
