On the occasion of the celebration of the XXX CICAT, que tendrá lugar en La Serena (Chile) of the 6 al 11 de septiembre de 2026, se pone en marcha la convocatoria de los PREMIOS FISOCAT 2026. Al igual que en ocasiones precedentes, cada Sociedad Nacional puede presentar una candidatura a cada una de las dos modalidades (‘Senior‘ y ‘Junior‘) y, entre todas las presentadas, el Consejo Directivo de FISOCAT select the winners.
For this reason, the period for the submission of candidacies to opt for the nomination by SECAT a los PREMIOS FISOCAT 2026, en sus dos modalidades:
- AWARD FOR ESTABLISHED OR "SENIOR" RESEARCHERS
Researchers in the field of catalysis born or who regularly carry out their research work in one of the member countries of the Federation may apply.
Applications will be submitted at the following form , and according to the corresponding instructions.
The winner of the Senior Award will be invited by the organizers of CICAT to present a Plenary Lecture on a topic of their choice related to catalysis.
- YOUNG RESEARCHERS OR "JUNIOR" AWARD
Para el “Premio Junior” la persona candidata debe tener 40 años de edad o menos, en la fecha del inicio del “30º Congreso Iberoamericano de Catálisis”, que como se ha indicado comenzará el 6 de Septiembre de 2026 en La Serena (Chile).
There is no established format for submitting these applications.
The winner of the Junior Award will be invited by the CICAT organizers to present a keynote on a topic of their choice related to catalysis.
The winners of each of the Awards will receive support from the organizers of the respective CICAT for their participation in the Congress.
To be eligible for either of the two awards, nominations must be sent to the SECAT Secretariat (secretaria@secat.es), incluyendo al menos el Curriculum Vitae de la persona propuesta junto con una carta de presentación de los méritos alegados.
El plazo de envío de candidaturas es hasta el día 16 DE ENERO DE 2026 (incluido).
