The European Patent Office (EPO) has announced, last Tuesday 20/06/2023, that it grants the European Inventor Award 2023 to the entire professional career to Avelino Corma, researcher at the Institute of Chemical Technology (ITQ), Mixed Center of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) (CSIC) and the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), for his extraordinary career in the world of chemistry, which has now lasted more than three decades. The EPO will pay tribute to him during the awards ceremony on 4 July.
The European Inventor Award is one of Europe's most prestigious innovation awards. Launched in 2006, the award honors individuals and teams who have brought solutions to some of the greatest challenges of our time.
