Avelino Corma Canós, a researcher at the Institute of Chemical Technology of Valencia (ITQ), a joint centre of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), has been awarded the 2020 Heinz Heinemann Prize, awarded by the International Association of Catalysis Societies (IACS) in recognition of his innovative achievements in the transition from the molecular design of solid catalysts to their industrial applications.
This award, of international prestige, is awarded every 4 years to an individual or working group for the important scientific and technological contributions in catalysis achieved in the last decade.
