- Catalysts and structured reactors for process intensification: microchannel metal structures and structured reactors with heat exchange.
- Catalysis for the control of exhaust gases from mobile sources. Removal of nitrogen oxides from diesel engines. Removal of methane in waste gases from natural gas engines.
- Catalytic strategies for the removal of recalcitrant pollutants. Control of chlorinated VOC emissions. Simultaneous removal of nitrogen oxides and dioxins/furans.
- Development of catalysts and processes for the production of clean energy. Production of hydrogen from fossil fuels and renewables. Purification of reforming hydrogen.
- Valorization of CO2 into methane (GNS) and as a carbon source in the petrochemical industry.
